ABOUT
My name is Kareem Rashad. My day job is customer experience and workforce management at Nations of Sky, a real-estate developer in Cairo. That's where I'm supposed to spend eight hours a day.
The other eight I've spent building things nobody asked for. Someone in operations would complain that a report took two hours to pull, or that a spreadsheet kept getting overwritten, or that the tool the company was paying for could only do half of what we needed. I'd nod, and that night I'd start building the alternative.
I don't have a computer science degree. I learned by shipping, breaking things, and rewriting them cleaner the next weekend. Everything you see here runs entirely from a browser — I don't own a Mac or a development laptop. Whatever I hand over was made in GitHub's web editor, deployed on Vercel or Cloudflare Pages, with Supabase doing the heavy lifting behind it.
SoloTec is the studio name. It's a promise: you talk to the person writing the code, and one person owns the whole thing end-to-end. No handoffs, no translation loss, no team meetings about meetings.
I'm not a graphic designer, I'm not a marketer, and I don't do "10x engineer" LinkedIn posts. I ship boring, reliable tools that quietly run in the background. That's the whole game.
